One of the worlds largest banks, JP Morgan are planning to double their Manchester-based operations, and are planning a major office move to the Spinningfields area. 

Marice Brown, JP Morgan’s managing director said: “My mandate for the UK is very clear. It’s doubling the size of the business in the next five years, here in Manchester specifically. The entrepreneurial mindset in Manchester is incredible. A very active community among angel investors and private equity investors, accelerators, incubators and with the universities, that eco-system is very active and very lively.”

Manchester is one of the UK’s fastest growing cities, with an annual GVA growth twice the national average. The city’s incredible economic growth is continuing to place the Northern city in the spotlight, with many global businesses now increasing their operations in the city.
