Russell Group The University of Manchester is one of four to partner with NatWest Bank in a collaboration designed to strengthen the UK’s innovation and start-up ecosystem. 

With aims to drive growth, business productivity and create high-value jobs across the country, universities of Manchester, Brighton and York will provide targeted support for businesses in their early stages. Support will be through various student entrepreneurs and university-spin outs expanding the partnership between the bank and these selected universities. 

Universities such as The University of Manchester have become a key focus in the government’s industrial strategy, recognising that innovation-centered businesses have a significant role to play in boosting economic growth.
